African decor is a type of interior design that has its roots in the continent and is currently gaining popularity worldwide. The theme focuses on traditional African aesthetics and design, including animal prints, elaborate woodcarvings, and vivid colors.

African furniture and decor are now used to enhance other themes and styles of modern decor, rustic decor, and even vintage decor.

The traditional benches and chairs found in African homes are not the beginning and end of African furniture. These conventional items have been transformed into works of art over the past two decades by designers, making them statement pieces that can be used in any home.

The contemporary sofa, bench, chair are some of the most well-liked African chair designs. Each of these items, which is also a work of art in and of itself, is made to go with the traditional African furniture that is found in homes.

Over time, concepts have changed from being exclusively African to bringing in a global ethnic theme by incorporating other cultures such as Indian and Asian designs, resulting in aesthetic designs that can be used in almost any home or workplace.

A variety of spaces, including living rooms, dining rooms, bedrooms, kitchens, offices, and more, can be decorated with African furniture and art pieces.

African decor is typically used to decorate the inside of a home, but it can also be used to decorate the outside as well.

Here is a list of some of the most popular African furniture and decor items that are used to decorate homes and offices around the world.
