Moses Bliss and Marie Wiseborn’s Traditional Wedding Ceremony

Nigerian gospel sensation Moses Bliss Uyoh Enang, also known as Moses Bliss, embarked on a heartwarming journey of love as he exchanged vows with his Ghanaian sweetheart, Marie Wiseborn, on Thursday, February 29th, 2024, in Accra, Ghana.

The traditional wedding ceremony was a wonderful blend of Ghanaian and Ibibio cultures, celebrating the rich heritage of both the bride and groom.

Among the esteemed guests gracing the occasion were renowned Ghanaian and Nigerian celebrities, including Juliet Ibrahim, Real Warri Pikin, Layole Oyatogun, Joe Moettle, Victor Thompson, VeeKee James, and her husband Femi Atere, among others.

Moses and his groomsmen proudly showcased the traditional attire of the Ibibio people. The Ibibio traditional attire for men is characterized by a well-tailored wrapper tied around the waist and complemented by a shirt. Additionally, the men adorned themselves with traditional caps known as “ibor” or “usobo,” symbolizing respect and identity within the Ibibio community.

Marie also graced the occasion with about four different outfits, from the traditional kente wrapper, to 2 mermaid kente gowns, an Ibibio outfit for brides,

Moses also adorned the famous Ghanaian kente wrapper to symbolize his acceptance into the family.

Moses and Marie met a little over a year ago on Instagram, and their love story has been an inspiration to many.

Their civil wedding, held on Tuesday, February 27th, 2024, marked the beginning of a beautiful lifelong journey together.
