The 2019 annual Miss Universe Pageant which held Sunday, 8th December at the Tyler Perry Studios in Atlanta, Georgia has been won by Zozibini Tunzi.
The 26 year old South African is an activist passionate about fighting gender- based violence.
An excited Zozibini wrote on her social media page:
“Tonight a door was opened and I could not be more grateful to have been the one to walk through it. May every little girl who witnessed this moment forever believe in the power of her dreams and may they see their faces reflected in mine.”
Her dress was designed by South African luxury designer, Biji – la Maison de Couture.
