How to Organize Your Ruracio Budget

Planning your Ruracio can be quite challenging if you don’t get organized. With the numerous stories flying around about how one rich kid made a grand entrance to millions of Kenyan shillings spent, you may think it’s impossible to organise your Ruracio for a decent amount.

Here are key steps to help you with your Ruracio budget:

1. Tell yourself the truth.

-Do you want a small ceremony (less than 50 made of close family and friends)? You just want to go straight to the point.

-Do you want a medium sized ceremony? (above 50 but less than 200 people). You like a bit of fun activities and want to thrill your guests with a bit of Ruracio traditions, but still want to be focused.

-Do you want a large ceremony? (Above 200 guests). You come from a large family that is hard to prune, you are Mr. Or Ms. Social and have lots of friends you don’t want to offend. You also love to enjoy the full Ruracio traditions and don’t mind some special effects or excesses.

Compare what you want with how much you have and can raise. Remember you probably still have a civil or church Wedding and reception to fund and most importantly, you have a LIFE to live after the wedding.

Let me offer a suggestion – if your choice is either the second or third, consider splitting your guest list. Invite some to your Ruracio and others to the church Wedding OR restrict the Ruracio to being a pure family affair, especially in cases where extended family are hard to cut off.
