The Igbo (ibo) people are predominantly in the eastern part of Nigeria.

The Igbo language is spoken in Nigeria and Equatorial Guinea.

The foremost ancestor and father of the igbos is Eri, the fifth son of Gad (a son of Jacob). Eri left Egypt with an entourage, before the exodus of the Israelites from Egypt, and settled in present day Aguleri in Anambra State, South Eastern Nigeria.

Women usually wear a puffy sleeve blouse, tie two wrappers and a headtie or head wrap.

Both male and femail also adorn their outfit with coral beads.
