Lusanda Mbane, 38, who plays Boniswa, in TV series, Scandal, is talented, ambitious and operates from a place of passion. Her words: “I either do it wholeheartedly or I don’t do it at all.”
Having recently become a Radio Presenter, she is an established Actress, an Entrepreneur in the Marketing and Human Capital industries, a sought-after event MC, Voice-Over Artist, Brand Ambassador for SAA inflight safety, a Trainer and Motivational Speaker.
“I am passionate about women-related issues. But I have a genuine love for people in general. I smile from my soul and I thrive on meeting new people and getting to know their stories.”
Her lowest point was when she quit her nine-to-five job at a recruitment agency to start her own business, without a proper plan to sustain herself. She says things didn’t go well in the beginning to a point where her car was repossessed.
“My lowest point was also my highest point because I got to learn how to make better decisions,” she said. Adding that it’s those times that have made her learn to live well within her means.
The mother of two, protects her family from the limelight, and she loves being a mom. “My kids understand that I travel a lot because I have to hustle for them,” she says.
Lusanda is happily married.
