“Ministry has Never Been My Financial Source”

“I am an entrepreneur

The current business ventures I am personally involved in include:

Real Estate

Education

Catering / Baking

Branding / Graphic Arts / Printing

Book / Speech writing

Public Speaking

Administrative Coaching

Social Media Coaching

Brand Ambassador

In the Idahosa and Whetstone family, we work for our money. A strong work ethic is probably the main reason why we don’t spend money carelessly. I thank God for parents who taught me the value of money and how to manage / create it early on.

My first job was as a janitor and my second was as a waitress, all while I was still in high school. I have never had a time since my adolescent life when I didn’t work, depending on others for income.

Most people know me as a Pastor, but… ministry has never been my financial source, nor will it be. Ministry is for the furtherance of the Gospel and for reaching needs in the community.

Next time your Pastor talks about a business venture that he/she or their spouse wants to go into, ENCOURAGE THEM! When they are financially successful, it removes a massive burden from the church.”
