7 Things to Know About Nokuthula “Noxcy” Mabika

  1. Actress, presenter and dancer, Nokuthula Mabika a.k.a Noxcy Mabika was born (28th July 1988) and raised in New Germany, Durban, South Africa.

2. Noxcy’s father and 6 different mothers raised her with 7 siblings.

3. Noxcy studied Drama at the University of Zululand, and started her career at Mzansi Magic films.

4. The role she landed as “Thobisile” at Uzalo in 2018 has been her biggest break. It was initially challenging for her to get used to the character.

5. Nokuthula faced a downtime in 2019, when she knocked down a high school student named Sanele Maphalala with her car.
In an exclusive interview with “Isolezwe” she said:


‘There has been a lot of misinformation about me but I kept quiet because I wanted peace…I think investigators have finally found that I was not hiding anything concerning what happened that day, rather it was the boy’s family that was tarnishing my name and lying about what happened’.

6. Noxcy also has a passion for music and plays the clarinet
