Easy Homemade Pizza Recipe Made With a Stove or An Oven

INGREDIENTS


PIZZA DOUGH

  • 4 cups all purpose flour
  • 2 table spoons instant yeast
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • Sprinkle of salt
  • 1 cup warm milk
  • 1 egg
  • 6 tablespoons soft butter

PIZZA SAUCE

  • 1 onion bulb
  • 1 red bell pepper
  • 1 green bell pepper
  • 3 carrots
  • 2 scotch bonnet peppers
  • 3 tomatoes
  • 1/4 teaspoon thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon curry powder
  • 1 seasoning cube
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 cooking spoon vegetable oil
  • 1 cup water

PIZZA TOPPINGS

  • 2 Chicken breasts
  • 4 sausage pieces
  • 3 bacon slices
  • 1 green bell pepper
  • 1 red bell pepper
  • 2-3 cups grated mozarella cheese

How to Make Homemade Pizza Dough

  • Pour your flour into a mixing bowl
  • Add instant yeast, white sugar, and some salt and stir
  • Make a hole in the center of the flour mix and add egg to the mix again
  • Add milk and mix again.
  • Mix all the ingredients together with your hands till the dough is formed
  • Transfer the dough to a flat surface and begin kneading for about 10 to 12 minutes to get very soft and stretchy consistency
  • To know when your dough is ready, poke a finger in it… it should bounce back up the moment you touch it
  • Place the dough back in the mixing bowl and cover with a kitchen napkin. This will give the yeast enough time to work the dough(it will double in size)

Preparing Homemade Pizza Toppings

  • Pizza toppings are usually made of tomato sauce, vegetables and cheese
  • Cut your vegetables in tiny chunks,add your onions fry for a few seconds on medium heat, then add the carrots and celery,saute for a few minutes
  • Add the green and red bell peppers and tomatoes.
  • Season with thyme,curry powder, seasoning cubes and salt.
  • Add about a cup of water and stir, cover, then leave to simmer for five minutes. You should have a creamy sauce
  • Set your sauce aside in a bowl.
  • Season the chicken with some salt and pepper, then transfer to a pan, heating each side till it turns brown (about 3 minutes on each side)
  • Repeat the process with the bacon and sausages, then cut all meat into bite size pieces and set aside
  • Grate your cheese; preferably mozzarella cheese because of its stretchy consistency.

  • Get your dough and place it on a flat surface, and flatten with a rolling pin…trim edges to ensure you have a perfect round shape
  • Get your frying pan and coat its interior with vegetable oil
  • Let the pan to heat up, then place your dough in it, leaving it to cook for about three to four minutes or until lightly browned, then flip to the other side
  • Spread your pizza sauce on the surface of the dough (while in the pan)
  • Spread the cheese, the chopped chicken sausage and bacon pieces, the bell peppers and more cheese
  • Cover your pan immediately and leave to cook for another three to five minutes on very low heat.
  • Your pizza is ready, and can be taken out of the pan and served

  • Roll out your dough with a rolling pin
  • Get your pizza tray and spray with oil
  • Place your dough in the try
  • Spread your pizza sauce on the dough, followed by the shredded cheese, chicken sausage and bacon pieces.
  • Add some pizza sauce, the bell peppers trips and lots of cheese
  • Place in a 350 degrees preheated oven and bake for 15 to 20 minutes or until the cheese is melted and the dough is slightly browned.
  • Take the pizza out of the oven and cut in slices.
