Butter Chicken

Ingredients:

The chicken marinade:

2 Chicken breasts cubed

1 Tbsp Yogurt

1 Tbsp garlic n ginger paste

2  Tsp Garam Masala

1 Tsp Tumeric

1 Tsp Jeera

1 Tsp Red Chilli Powder

Salt to taste

FOR the sauce:

2 Tbsp Butter

1 Tsp Garlic n Ginger Paste

1 Can crushed tomatoes or you can use fresh tomatoes.

1 1/2 Tsp Jeera

1 1/2 Tsp Garam Masala

1 Tsp Coriander

1 Tsp Red Chilli Powder (Adjust to your taste preference)

Salt to taste

1 Cup Of Milk and Yoghurt. Half of each.

Method:

Marinate chicken with all the ingredients for an hour or over night. Add butter to a pan and fry chicken in batches till golden on all sides. Then set aside.

Mix the yogurt, milk and all the spices.. use the same butter to make the sauce. Add garlic n ginger paste to the butter then add the tomatoes. You can add a tsp more butter if it doesn’t seem enough. Fry for 3 minutes or till tomatoes look ready then add the yogurt mixture. Simmer on low for a few minutes then add the chicken and a cup of water.. Put the lid on and simmer for a few minutes on low. Add fresh Dhania and enjoy.
