The Luo tribe are an ethnic group that can be found in Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Sudan, Congo and Ethiopia.

The Luos are the third largest tribe in Kenya, they migrated from Sudan to settle near Lake Victoria.

The Luo tribe in Kenys speak the Dholuo language and refer to themselves as Joluo a.k.a Jaluo( People of Luo).

The Luo, particularly the elite and educated are known for their good command of the English language, sense of style and flamboyance.

A popular delicacy of the Luo is Ugali and fish.
