Avatar Anita
October 15, 2017

47yr old Vatiswa Ndara, is a South African radio personality and actress who is best known for both her radio news reading as well as performances in various TV shows.

She has played roles in sitcoms such as; Generations, Gaz’lam, Nomzamo, Home Affairs, Tsha Tsha and the critically-acclaimed mini-series, Society.

Vatiswa is currently on e.tv’s, The Harvest, where she portrays the widow called Clementine Mfona. Though a bit tensed by her character and the storyline in the sitcom, she said she was attracted to the criminal element in the story-line.

She added that she loves the challenge her characters give her as an actor.

“I’ve been privileged to play such crazy characters and to see how far I can go as a performer,” she said.

In 2006 she won the inaugural SAFTA award for Best Supporting Actress for her role as Miriam in Home Affairs. She’s also played the role of ruthless soccer club boss, Neo Moloto, in the e.tv drama series Shooting Stars.

She was born Sept. 28, 1970.
