Meet Khabonina Qubeka – Actress, Choreographer, Mother…

Multi talented Khabonina Qubeka, who is known for her role in Dora’s Peace, Isidingo and many other South African hit TV shows, is a professional dancer and choreographer who has hosted and been a judge on numerous television dance reality shows such as: SABC 1 Dance your butt off, eTV Step up or Step out and choreographed The Channel O Music Video Awards.

Born January 22, 1981, the South African beauty, is also an international award winning actress. 

In 2017, she won best actress at the international Boston Film Festival Awards and was nominated as best actress at the Beijing Film Festival and Africa Movie Academy Award for Best Actress in a Leading Role at Africa Movie Academy Awards for her role as “Dora” in Dora’s Peace.

In 2018 she launched her own Afro Yoga concept in Hong Kong and received a City University award of the highest honour of a professional creative for the world from the director of City University Mr Wilson Lam and YogaRaj himself.

Khabonina produced and hosted her own health and fitness show called “Gym e’Kasi” for eTV & Open View HD.

She hosted a BET show FIX MY LOVE and has been known for her role as MAXINE on a South African award winning show THE WILD.

Beyond her fame and achievements, Khabonina, 38, is also a mother, and this was revealed last year, 2018, when she caught her fans by surprise as they had no idea she was pregnant.

Khabonina, who is known to keep her private life private, took to social media to finally let the cat out of the bag. She wrote:

“Please allow me to share this with you.”  

“A few days ago – 02 October, 2018 at 9 PM, I gave birth to a beautiful healthy and oh so peaceful baby girl! Yes it’s a girl.”

Even though her fans were shocked, they received the news with joy.
