‘Queen Of The Dark’ – Meet Beautiful Sudanese Model, Nyakim Gatwech.

Nyakim Gatwech, is known for her naturally dark skin colour and has been nicknamed the ‘Queen of the Dark.’

Gatwech has faced self-esteem issues and comments from people who promote bleaching to lighten skin color, but learned to embrace her beauty and pigmentation with love and support from her fans.

Though originally from South Sudan, Nyakim was born in Ethiopia and migrated with her family when she was 15, in middle school. They settled in Buffalo, New York, but later moved to Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Although the beautiful 25yr old melanin goddess wasn’t born or been to Sudan, she still considers herself as Sudanese. 

Her Modelling career started after taking part in a fashion show at St. Cloud State University . She also appeared in promotional posters for the 2017 film Jigsaw .
