With roots dating back thousands of years, basket weaving is one of Africa’s oldest crafts.
These baskets can be made from a variety of materials, including grass, cane, and wood. They are handwoven and frequently feature elaborate designs and hues that have been passed down through the generations.

1. Tonga/Binga Basket from Zimbabwe
