ZAMBIAN FOOD | Cassava and Groundnuts Recipe

EQUIPMENT

 

a pana pota spatula

 

INGREDIENTS

 

1 Cup of Oil

3 Whole Cassava roots

Salt

1 Cup of Groundnuts

 

PREPARATION 

 

CASSAVA

The cassava must be soaked in water for 24 hrs prior

Add 1 cup of oil to a pan and leave to heat

Add cassava to pan and leave to cook, when both sides are brown and crispy the cassava is ready

 

GROUNDNUTS

 

To a heated pot add groundnuts

Stir the groundnuts continuously until the covering of the groundnuts easily comes off

When it’s done add salt and enjoy it with cassava

And voila it’s ready to be served
