VITUMBUWA Recipe

 

 

Ingredients

Flour 3cups

Sugar 3 tbpns

Baking powder 1tbspn

A pinch of salt

Oil 

 

Method

Mix all ingredients slowly while adding a little water until the mixture has medium thickness. Use a large tablespoon to scoop the vitumbuwa batter or dough from the bowl and place about 5 to 6 in a pan. 

Let each chitumbuwa cook for 2 to 3 minutes before you flip it over with a spatula to cook the other side.
